Cartier
Cartier was the first jewellery maison to launch on the Farfetch Platform Solutions ecosystem, introducing new requirements that extended beyond traditional fashion e-commerce and created opportunities to evolve the platform with new capabilities.
My contribution spanned multiple phases of the project, from shaping foundational shopping experiences to owning the design of the one-page checkout journey. A key challenge was creating scalable solutions that could support regional variations, complex purchasing flows, and future platform developments while maintaining a seamless luxury experience.
Key Contributions
Owned the one-page checkout end to end, focused on reducing friction at the highest-stakes point in the journey.
Shaped Product Detail Pages, Wishlist, and Boutique Locator as core customer journeys for a new product category on the platform.
Defined new platform capabilities specific to jewellery and watch shopping, like sizing or engraving, that didn't exist in Farfetch's fashion-first patterns.
Designed component behaviours built to flex across regional requirements without a full rebuild per market.
Partnered directly with product and engineering throughout delivery on a project with unusually little precedent to lean on.
